Over a week without heat and they can’t order the right part. Use someone else
Response from the owner:Hi Josie, we’re truly sorry for the frustration this situation caused, especially during such a severe ice storm. We understand how stressful it is to be without heat. Due to hazardous road conditions early in the week, we weren’t able to safely access many homes until Wednesday. Once roads improved, your home was prioritized and visited promptly. Our technician diagnosed the issue and confirmed the failure with the manufacturer’s technical support before ordering the control board. When the part arrived and was installed, it unfortunately became clear that a different control board was required, something that can occasionally happen with complex manufacturer-controlled systems. As soon as this was identified, we immediately reordered the correct part and are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. We genuinely regret the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during an unusually difficult weather event. If you’d like to speak with our management team directly, we’d welcome the opportunity to help make this right.

“Kris Mills was assigned to make our a/c repair. He was friendly and knowledgeable and found the problem within 30 minutes. He explained what needed to be done/replaced in a way that I could understand. He had everything he needed to make the repairs with him and within an hour or so he had the a/c working. After 2 days with temperatures over 100, waiting on our home warranty people to find someone to repair the a/c, we called Danco Comfort Services and we are very satisfied with their professionalism and service. Will use them again for heating and a/c problems.”

“Our air conditioner stopped cooling on the Saturday evening of July 4th weekend, so we called Danco’s 24 hour emergency line. We got a call back from Mitchell about 10 minutes later and he was at our location in just a few minutes. He correctly diagnosed the issue immediately and we were back to a cool house in less than a half hour. We thought for sure we were in for a long holiday weekend in a hot house. But Mitchell saved the day! Danco is the only AC repair company we’ll be using from here on out!”
