Over a week without heat and they can’t order the right part. Use someone else
Response from the owner:Hi Josie, we’re truly sorry for the frustration this situation caused, especially during such a severe ice storm. We understand how stressful it is to be without heat. Due to hazardous road conditions early in the week, we weren’t able to safely access many homes until Wednesday. Once roads improved, your home was prioritized and visited promptly. Our technician diagnosed the issue and confirmed the failure with the manufacturer’s technical support before ordering the control board. When the part arrived and was installed, it unfortunately became clear that a different control board was required, something that can occasionally happen with complex manufacturer-controlled systems. As soon as this was identified, we immediately reordered the correct part and are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. We genuinely regret the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during an unusually difficult weather event. If you’d like to speak with our management team directly, we’d welcome the opportunity to help make this right.

Great service by a very experienced professional. Robert came out and quickly diagnosed the issue, he communicated what was needed and easily repaired the system.

“A recent storm caused our TRANE AC/Heating Unit to lock completely out. Confused with the system readings we contacted Danco because we understood the company to be knowledgeable with the unit. Danco’s technician Robert Westmoreland, arrived the next morning. Robert was very professional and courteous when greeted in our home. He was also very well informed regarding the TRANE unit. “Danco installed a new Trane heat pump/air conditioner for us. Anthony was most knowledgeable in helping us select the best unit for our needs. We added zones to insure complete cooling of our home. This included cleaning and replacement of air ducts – what a wonderful difference this makes! Anthony was very patient with our many questions. He called and followed up with us regularly since Trane's manufacturing plant was damaged by the February ice storm – and Covid delays. I would say that Anthony went above and beyond keeping us informed and in the loop.
Our installation team lead by Tim was a most positive experience. Removing old and installing new went smoothly as planned. Tim was very patient and well informed on all the equipment and teaching us how to control our zones and unit operation. This install never left us too warm and clean up was excellent.
We highly recommend Danco for service or replacement in your home.”
